About Us

Our Mission Statement: We strive to help individuals find their own calm nature through studying meditation, mindfulness, philosophies, and breathing techniques.

Founded in Fall, 2020.

Our Goals

We are a student organization that meets twice a week to do meditations, talk about mindfulness, watch inspirational videos, journal on different quotes and prompts, and go on nature walks. Our main goal is to help students balance their busy schedules with something to relax with. Meditation is the perfect way to calm down all the stress and anxiety throughout the day, and it helps build a positive attitude for the upcoming events/ classes. We plan to take an MBSR, mindfulness-based stress reduction, course as a group to help beginners understand more about how we can use mindfulness and meditation to reduce our daily stress. We have general meetings once a week, time is to be determined and we have an additional discussion meeting designed for students who are more interested in the philosophy and spiritual practices of three major philosophies: Stoicism, Buddhism, and Daoism.
